New Jumbo Minds’ Science ABCs Book Collection

As a teacher and mom I am definitely a big promoter of reading to your children and having them read to you. I was excited to be able to receive part of this awesome new line Jumbo Minds’ Science ABCs.

My Thoughts:

I was definitely impressed with these great books. I love to read with my kids and my kids love to read and look for books. They enjoyed looking at the pictures and listening to new vocabulary words while we read. I teach 3rd grade and my students were even interested in these books even though they are well past the age of 6. This is a great book line to get your kids going and more familiar with many science words.

The Only Cure for THE JUNGLE BOOK Movie is MORE COWBELL! #JungleBook

We just saw the new live action version of Disney’s “The Jung;e Book”. My son loved the animated version, as well as Rudyard Kipling’s story. As a huge animal lover, I knew he would love this one, and he certainly did. It’s a little dark for the littlest viewers (there is some animal violence, nothing graphic at all) but some of the little peanuts got scared, so be warned.

My boy is 8, and I think he is a great age for this movie. My husband and I really enjoyed it as well, and I’m not a person to go nuts for children’s movies. It was sweet, kept everyone’s attention, and was really, really well done. Not to mention the voices were fun- especially Christopher Walken as King Louie, haha.

Fun “Easter Egg” moment- Mowgli in the monkey temple. Fans of SNL and Walken in general will get a kick out of this fun moment.

My son can’t wait to see it again, and has been raving about it to all his friends. It’s a very different movie then the animated version you are used to and have seen, and I think you will like it. I don’t want to give much away, but I recommend it highly. The Jungle Book opens this Friday, make sure to grab your tickets and head in.

Yay! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited that I am about this amazing tank. My girls had a great deal of fun playing with this great new toy. They just turned 4 and 6 recently and still had a great deal of fun. As you all know by now, I absolutely love my Kidz Bop CD’s. I teach and have children of my own and love to be able to listen to popular songs that I don’t have to run and silence to edit myself. My students and children alike love when I get out the music and get it going. The songs sound just like the regular songs, just have been made so that they are appropriate for children. I have and will continue to make sure that each and every Kidz Bop CD will be a part of our collection.

The Greatest Hits CD had many of my favorite songs as well as my girls’ and they were so very happy to have all the songs in one place.

My son and I had a great time searching for all of the landmarks in LEGO form, and figuring out what we have seen and what we have yet to. He also loved the extra fun activities, like building his own monument to take home, building race cars to play with on the LEGO tracks at the mall, and even entering into the competition- he built a LEGO creation, and left it there to be displayed.
