Coffee, let’s face it. It’s a must! What goes better with coffee than a cookie? No this isn’t going to be a cookie recipe, it’s Homemade Coffee Creamer! You’ll have to add the cookie in afterwards if you really want it 🙂

I used to run out of creamer all the time but skimmed through a frugal cookbook to come across the easiest ever recipe. Why didn’t I think of making it myself before? No clue, now though I have fresh cream to my own liking.

You can add different flavors, like caramel or french vanilla, add some mint in there if it floats your boat! Use skim, half or whole milk. You decide what goes into your creamer and be happy with it. On with the recipe!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups of milk

14 ounce can of low fat sweetened condensed milk

1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions, be careful now this is where it gets tricky!

Pour ingredients into a container, I used an old jar, and shake it up. You are now ready to have your coffee!

Tough right? Such lengths we go to for a cup of coffee in the morning!

  1. This is so simple and delicious! No more scary ingredients list like grocery creamer. I boiled the condensed milk for a couple hours to create a vanilla caramel flavor, it’s magnificent! I wonder if a butter pecan flavor could be made the same way but using pecan flavoring rather than vanilla?

  2. Anybody have any ideas on how to make Butter Pecan Coffee creamer?

  3. sounds yummy will have to make some for myself, Quick question thou my sis-in-law is on a health food kick and doesnt consume sugar so instead of using the condensed milk could i use evaporated milk instead or would it ruin the taste of it?

  4. Awww….Grammie used to keep a batch of this in the fridge, though I don’t think she added vanilla. Way cheaper than creamer and so much better tasting.

  5. Super fun and neat! And may I mention LOT less then creamer!!

  6. what a great and easy idea, thanks!

  7. I keep a carton of cream for my husbands coffee, but I hadn’t thought of adding flavorings. Such a good idea. I will try that.

  8. Thank you for this recipe, I totally need this. There is nothing worse then going to have a morning cup of coffee only to find out you are out of cream. Not a good position to be in when you stay up too late working and are not necessarily a morning person. Now I can just make my own!

  9. I totally need this recipe! I don’t know how may times I have run out of cream without any more on hand. Not good for someone who stays up way too late working and is not a morning person! Thank you. 🙂

  10. Looks easy and thrifty. I love it.
