Family life can be an interesting adventure. One of the most interesting is packing lunch for my son. He can be quite the unique individual. He is one of the few people I know who doesn’t like sandwiches. In the past we could sneak a peanut butter or jelly sandwich through, but only once a week and only when cut into a silly shape with no crust. The ritual was annoying, and he whined anyway so early morning lunch making was quite difficult. Considering options for packed lunches can be limited, what to give him? We found that cold cut roll ups were good, as were cheese bites (cubed cheddar cheese). This forced us to be creative with lunch, but luckily he likes soup, fruits, and vegetables. I don’t have time to play on Pinterest for 3 hours a day to make him sushi snack bunnies, so we’re creative – not artistic.

Raw vegetables and fruit often make up a bulk of his lunches as well. Every so often we find out about some new food or treats to put into his lunch and are almost as excited as he is when we find something he will eat. Mott’s® new Snack And Go Natural Applesauce Pouches are one of these products we recently came upon. The new pouches feature all natural applesauce and other fruit in convenient, easy to pack pouches.

The pouches are perfect not only for not only lunches but as a snack, sports game treat, and picnic snacks. Anytime a little sweetness is wanted, these are perfect. The varieties available are Natural, Strawberry applesauce, Original, Cinnamon, Berry applesauce, and Granny Smith. My son likes the Berry applesauce* best of all. He also enjoys anything and everything strawberry, so the Mott’s® Snack & Go Strawberry applesauce pouches were a no brainer. I like them too, because there’s no sugar added and they’re and an excellent source of Vitamin C.*

When these pouches are frozen and packed into a lunch box, by lunch time your kids will have a delicious cold treat. Mott’s® Snack And Go applesauce pouches are available now at stores across the country.
