90 Years ago today, the 19th Amendment was ratified, giving women the right to vote in the USA.
This is just a quick post, saying that I am grateful to those who came before me, who stood up for our rights, and how glad I am to be in the company of fine woman today.
Please take a moment today to honor the great woman (and some men, too!) who fought for our right to vote, and paved the way for women to to hold political offices, corporate jobs, to work where she wants, or make her own choice to stay at home. Hopefully we will see a woman president soon! Hopefully we will (FINALLY) have the equal pay for equal work act passed. But today, thank you for 90 years of having a say in our country.
