I love yoga. And on a day like today, I can’t wait to get home and pop in a good yoga DVD and just relax. (yes, I am sitting at work, way too early, writing this with no internet access on a laptop. Jealous????) It’s cold, rainy, and the heat is not working right! You know, the kind of day where your whole body is just stiff as a board and not cooperating?
Yoga is the best, relaxes your mind and body. I have also found that the longer I stay away from yoga, the more inflexible I become- both my body and my attitude. Just ask the hubs! He can always tell when I miss my weekly class. (I do take one class a week out of the home, no interruptions, LOL) He says I can be a bit of a monster when I do no yoga for a week or more, and I know he’s right.
I recently found a really great yoga mat, it is from a company called Aurore Yoga. It easily puts my old mat to shame. It’s nice and thick, and when I brought it to class, so many of the other women were asking me where I got it! Cases like this make me wish I had business card to hand out, LOL. When I really love something, I am always happy to spread the word. It’s called the “Northern Lights Mat“.

Mats come in a variety of colors, each with it’s own insight and cool chakra vibe. I was also able to to try out Aurorae Yoga Slip Free Rosin Bag, a substance to help you stick to your yoga mat. I have never tried anything like it before, and it reminded me of gymnastics, LOL. But it was useful, I didn’t slide nearly as often! If you are a lover of yoga, or an aspiring yogini, check out these mats and this company. You won’t be disappointed!
Feeling more like a Grinch then a Holly Jolly Holiday maker? Try yoga, your body, mind, and family will thank you! How many yoga posts have I done? I honestly believe that it makes a difference. And it is something nice you can do for yourself. I even do yoga with my Pre-K class, because it is an instant mood-improvement, attitude adjustment, and body relaxer.
(If you have a yoga lover on your Holiday Shopping list, there are some great products in the Aurore line. They would make great gifts! I know there are a few things I personally would love to check out.)

Yoga is well known to help many people improve their overall health condition as well as provide a form of relaxation. It is important however to practice yoga on a good yoga mat. Yoga mats play an important role in yoga enthusiasts doing their regular exercises. They need them to keep their body from slipping during any of those strenuous yoga poses, yet keeping their hands and feet perfectly still.
