Hello, everybody, I’m so glad to see you!
I think that may be one of the most well remembered children’s songs, and one I love to use in the Pre-K. I happily welcomed these great, family friendly CD’s into the morning routine at the school. I have a few CD’s and tapes (oh yeah, old school, baby!) from Music Together classes taken in years past. Those classes were so much fun!

Music Together Family Favorites 2 is a compilation of nineteen (19) best-loved songs from all nine (9) Music Together song collections. This beautifully arranged anthology of original, folk, and traditional songs from all around the world features musically rich arrangements and vocals that appeal to children and adults alike. This CD has won nine awards including a Parents’ Choice Silver Honor award and includes a 32-page booklet with fun music-making activity suggestions for every song for use at home, in the car, or in the preschool classroom.

Music Together Lullabies CD

Music Together Lullabies is a soothing anthology of all eighteen (18) lullabies from the ten (10) Music Together song collections. This CD has won nine awards including Dr. Toy’s 10 Best Audio-Video Products for 2009 and includes a 32-page booklet with calming activity ideas for parent-child bonding.
Reviews and Awards

The music, sung by real people and real voices, shows kids by example to sing out loud and just have fun with their music! With the adults in their life playing and singing with them, setting an example of just having a good time and exploring music as well as learning rhythms and beats. The music and the style encourages learn by doing, and having fun while learning. (The kids don’t even know they are learning- they just do!) The CD’s offer a wide range of music from diverse backgrounds and cultures, giving our little ones a taste of life outside their “bubble” of existence. Why not expose your kids to a little (very appropriate) culture?
There are booklets inside that can even give you some ideas of incorporating movement and play into your Music Together time.

They also now have a Songbook for Teachers- I think I may need to look into that! It is a companion songbook designed to accompany the Family Favorites CD, to assist those who work with children. Hmmm, sounds like someone I know. I should go have a look-see!
