What You REALLY Need to Know About Christmas
Life According to the Pre-K
(A compilation of “fun facts” of life I learned while making “Why I love the Holidays” pictures with my class- these are my top 10)
1- You need to put up the lights with your dad, so your mom can make sure your baby doesn’t stick his fingers in them, but you have to do it when it’s sunning.
2- Your mom always has to say she’s all fat, and if she has a dress she even still says she’s all fat, too.
3- You have to share with your sister all your own toys, even if you don’t want to, or you’ll get in so-so big trouble.
4- Don’t say “crap”.
5- You only get presents if you’re being good- my sister gets NOTHING!
6- I try to see all my presents, but my mom hides them so I don’t see. But then you know what? I still find them, and then I look at them all anyway all the time.
7- When the sun comes up, all the snow dies. (A future Goth kid!)
8- We put balls and other kinds of stuff out the windows. Or on the tree.
9- I make a snowman, and I also make a ball of snow and I throw it at my dad’s shirt, but not at my mom, cuz she’s holding the baby!
10- Sometimes your dad will put on all the lights, but thy won’t work, so he will say potty words until they work. But that’s bad. (My favorite!)
Lol! Trust kids to come up with priceless gems!
I love wisdom from children!
