As you guys know, this momma loves to travel. And my Little Man and I are in the car quite a bit- our Pre-K is not so close to home! It’s a 45 minute drive each way- so we spend some time in the car, and Little in his car seat.
I was recently sent an amazing (wonderful, fantastic, I-love-this-so-much-I can’t-even-tell-you) product from Star Kids called the Snack and Play Travel Tray.
It is super easy to use- you just wrap the strap around the back of the car seat, put the tray on the lap area of the car seat, and viola! A tray for your sweetie! They can play on it, eat on it, read or color, anything.
I have to tell you, now that I have the Snack and Play Travel Tray, I don’t know what I did without it. It is one of those AHA!!!! moments.
My Little Man drives me insane to and from work in the mornings- “MOMMY! I DROPPED IT!!!!!” and tears until I pull the car over and find whatever he has dropped, or he cries when he drops it again and I won’t pull over multiple times. (I do have to get there on time!) It is one of those things about my lovie that I don’t really like- he is a buggar in the car. Always has been. The other thing he does is the endless requests- I want juice, I want snacks, I want a this or that, I dropped my tissue…..Can I tell you again how much I love the new Snack and Play Travel Tray? I just put him into his seat, set the tray up, put a few toys and a tissue on the tray, and a juice and snack in the side pocket- and then I can drive to work with no crying! It’s bliss!
When you put stuff into the seat, it all falls out all the time. The tray keeps it all neatly in. It’s also crash tested! To add even more cool-ness, you can use it on your stroller, too 🙂

I really like this, like- REALLY. We have all been though our share of kid’s products- this one delivers. I am a Pre-K teacher, and all of my education and training has been in child-related fields. I am a mom. I was a nanny all through college, ran my own child care center, and now have been a teacher and a tutor for years. You can say I know kid’s products- I have certainly been around them long enough, haha. This is, without a doubt, the one I would say DON’T BE WITHOUT! It is so useful, so handy, so convenient! I wish I had one of these years ago.
