Hey Bloggy Buddies! So I am getting ready for the NY Toy Fair, coming up in Febuary. Super excited! I love to go check out all the new toys, and meet some of the fabulous people that make them and bring them to our kids!
You all know that I went to the Chicago Toy and Game Fair back in November, and there have been several posts and LOTS of Facebook and twitter shares and posts about all the fun stuff I got to see and do there, as well as people I met and great stuff I got to try out!
I thought I would make one more post, about the November 20th Child’s Play Communications’ Holiday Bloggers Brunch (right inside the Toy Fair- no need to do any big walking, LOL).
There was a Question and Answer session between Child’s Play and a few of the Mom Bloggers that were on a panel. These mommies gave their opinions on all things bloggy- from sponsors, to email, to content. It was a great learning experiance. (And the brunch was delicious! Did I mention that Cold Stone Creamery was there, and they brought ice cream cake? Oh, I have? Well, I’m saying it again!!!! Do I seem like a woman who doesn’t like ice cream cake? Hehehe….)
We also got to meet people from all sorts of great companies! Here are the companies that attended this event-
Playtex Baby, Restaurant.com, Backyard Safari Outfitters/Zillions, Cold Stone Creamery, MEGA Brands, In Zone Brands, Mary Kay Cosmetics and Toy State.
Another cool thing about this Bloggy Mom’s event, is that I got to meet some of the mom bloggers who write some fabulous blogs. Most of them were from the Chicago area, but there were a few other adventurers that made the trip just to hang out, learn, mingle, and have fun! No to mention see all the fabulous toys, LOL.
Just a little reminder of some of the fabulous stuff from this event- I don’t want to mess up the page load time with too many photos- but please feel free to click HERE to see more photos of the Chicago Toy and Game Fair and Chicago.
You can also click HERE for the Child’s Play Communications’ Holiday Bloggers Brunch photos from their site.
It was super fabulous, and I want to thank Child’s Play Communications and all the fabulous sponsors once again for having Have Sippy Will Travel there!
