Ocean Nasal Sprays Review and Contest

Tis the season for clogged sinuses! Ok, so maybe you don’t feel so jolly- but I know how to cheer you up! Ocean Sprays are just the thing to help clear you up and help you breathe. No one feels like themselves when they can’t even take a breath!
Ocean Nasal Sprays comes in 3 varieties, Kids, Complete Sinus Irrigation, and Premium Saline Nasal. As you know, we are fans of nasal cleansing in this house. I believe the best cure is in prevention. I have had these products for a while, because I wanted to try them before I reviewed them (I’m funny like that, LOL) so I hope that no one minds! My husband is a big snore-er, which I think I have mentioned (and complained about!) on numerous occasions, LOL. He also has asthma, so that’s super fun! Little Man is the Cold and Flu King, and the poor kid has been on the nebulizer all winter, and uses a humidifier nightly. He seems to take after daddy’s respiratory system, which pleases me not one bit!!!!
I figured Kamikaze and I would be good product testers for these. We breathe like regular old people, LOL.
The hubs took the Sinus Irrigation to try it out, and see how it compared to our Neti Pot, which we both love (yes, we each have our own, don’t get grossed out, LOL).
He said they were comparable, except that the Neti Pot was more of a slow flow, and this was more of a stream. A little quicker. It also has a second tip you can put on for moisturizing- it gives you more of a mist. He said it made him want to sneeze, and was “mad tickely”. (His words.)

I tried the Ocean Premium Saline Nasal when I got my first head cold of the season. It was not fun, though not as yucky as my current pneumonia, LOL. (Good Grief, I HATE WINTER!) I am a big user of nasal sprays, and usually keep one in my purse for emergencies (I’m not kidding, I really do). It did a nice job of moisturizing my sinuses, and that always makes it easier to breathe (and blow your nose!)
I am also a sufferer of migraines, and some of them are sinus related. I really can’t explain to you the pain of migraine if you have never had one! I also use nasal sprays because they can relieve some of the sinus pressure that accompanies these sorts of migraines (I get all sorts, I’m not a “specific” migraine sort of gal! Jealous???).
The first time I used the Ocean Spray Premium Saline Nasal I was pleasantly surprised that it helped. I don’t usually get much relief, and so when I do, I’m happy to share the news.

Kamikaze was not happy at being a guinea pig for a nasal spray. She doesn’t like them, and hates when I make her do them. (Hahaha! Evil mommy laugh!) I’m not going to lie and say my kids love nasal sprays. It can be a fight. My kids are good medicine takers, but not good at eye drops or nasal sprays- what can I say. Buggars.
BUT, she did breathe better and have less nasal congestion after she used OCEAN for Kids
