Sunday, November 27, BRAVE ROONEY will be free on iTunes. Available for the iPad, iPhone
and iPod Touch, the app comes with over fifty interactive features and animations. According to
Parenthood.com, “Kids of all ages, despite their ranking on the playground or sports field, can relate
to Gerry Renert’s inspiring e-book.” Common Sense Media had this to say, “Rooney’s story about
going to a new school full of traditional superheroes and finding his own unique superpower is an

The title is written by Gerry Renert, a multi EMMY-Nominated TV Creator/Writer and winner
of awards from: iParenting Media, Parent’s Choice, Humanitas and Mom’s Choice. BRAVE
ROONEY’S illustrator, Barry Gott is also a multi award-winner and a recipient of an iParenting Media
Award and a Junior Library Guild Selection.
BRAVE ROONEY was developed by Miami-based Bacciz LLC. ROONEY is the latest in a line of
mobile apps intended to maximize the ever-developing tools for digital interactivity. The publisher
has had its books recognized as Apple “Staff Favorites”, “Top 50 Paid iPad Apps” and “Top
