Kittens, Trekkies, Ninjas, and stunts. Oh my!
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a Holiday episode of ThinkGeek Awesome from Daddy to you!
Today we are highlighting some great gift ideas for those of you who are looking for something just a bit nerdy for those you care for.
First up from the hit TV show Big Bang Theory, Soft Kitty. Soft Kitty is an absolutely soothing song which Shelden’s mother used to sing to him when he was ill. This little kitty is cute and when you press her paw she plays the song, in a sweet voice. A good gift for either the warrior princess in your life who still loves her stuffed animals at bed time, little nerds in training, or just for any fan of The Big Bang Theory.
Up next is the Star Trek Nutcracker. These nutcrackers are of Kirk and Spock. Most important item of interest is they are functional, they can crack shelled legumes with the best of them. Yes I know, the nuts do not crack in their mouths. Well I am sure Kirk and Spock would feel mighty silly and rude now that it’s mentioned, spitting food into your hand, what are they- 3? These are high quality and officially licensed Star Trek nutcrackers, great for an Trek fan for a Holiday gift. Or even for a non-Star Trek fan to watch as Kirk struggles to open a Brazil nut with his chest.
Cookies- is there a way to make them more awesome then they already are? Is there anything better then walking into a house and smelling fresh baked cookies then being able to bite into a warm cookies? I think not. The holidays are meant to share delicious cookies, so why not share some karate too. Ninjabread Men Cookie Cutters are here to turn your gingerbread house into a house of flying daggers. Using the 3 ninja shapes made out of food-safe ABS plastic, it is easy to create a whole army of ninjas. These will work on any dough, we made sugar cookies, and even pancakes. Only when the pancakes are done and on a plate should you use these, DO NOT put these in the pan, they will melt. Don’t ask why I had to test that first hand. It was early.
These are awesome and add a little bit more fun when added to the cookie tray for big get together. Just keep them away from the toothpicks, you don’t want a ninja war starting between the gingerbread clan and the shadow of the sugar cookie clan. P.S.- this is a great gift for any who make any kind of baked goods. With a creative mind these have limitless possibilities.
Rounding out our highlights is a very nifty shirt. This shirt is great for either the tough guy or girl you know- or the not so tough individual on your shopping list who understands irony and has a sense of humor. The I do all my own stunts shirt will work for either party. I like to wear my silly shirts to family functions, this one works while hosting them, because frankly there is no stunt more dangerous then trying to veer an argument away from fisticuffs to an extra helping of mashed potatoes. Daddy- OUT!
