Flower bulbs. The under appreciated cheat sheet of gardening. How else could beutiful flowers like Gerber daisies and Tulips grow year after year? Well The answer is bulbs of course, with a little hole and a bury in the fall/early winter your yard could look absolutely gorgeous every spring. visit www.digdropdone.com to learn more about these wonderful plants.
Lets start with at the beginning. What should you be planting? Check out Curbside Chaos . At the bottom of the page there is a good beginning, the garden guru. The guru will help figure out what to plant when depending on your location. First pick your country, then location, then type of bulb you want to grow, and finally follow the guide on how to plant your bulbs. At this point you will have a very good understanding of how to plant your bulbs, when to and where as well. Very very informative.
Now if that wasn’t enough of an incentive you can also enter the contest, Bulbs, Dig, Drop, Done. where if you submit a before picture of your yard to Curbside Chaos you get a chance to win a $5,000 yard makeover with Taniya Nayak.
Another cool feature to be aware of at Dig Drop Done is the Dig Drop Drop Ladies. They are some silly little videos to entertain and educate the viewer about bulbs. I know it doesn’t sound entertaining but I think the funniest one is Evelyn. She is quite funny. Dig Drop Done will also donate $1 for every tweet about them to Rebuilding Together a nonprofit working to preserve affordable homeownership and keep communities alive.
