I’m still working on changing my winter loathing attitude; I
must confess it isn’t going so well.

I do find much reprieve in the Christmas season and the
spirit in which it invokes. I also turn to skinny jeans, chunky sweaters, and
very chic boots.

When looking for a new pair for myself I came across Bennetts Boots, they are a specialty
boot boutique that offers a solution for women with larger calves. I immediately
thought of my big sister, who is a lean muscle machine…she is as beautiful as
beautiful gets. She dresses to the nine and loves boots probably more than I
do.

The problem is that because of her muscular build knee high
boots or any over the calf boot is very uncomfortable for her. Having been on
the bodacious end of the zipper I can truly empathize with this type of
wardrobe quandary …it just plain ol’ stink.

Being stylish shouldn’t be uncomfortable and a good fit
shouldn’t look like it was made for your great grandmother; Bennetts Boots gets that. With precise measurement options and a slew of spirited
fashions the most robust of women can find a bit of leather and sass.

I am a little weird (this you knew) about my measurements.
They are more like really bad guesstimates, so when it comes to boots I am afraid
to shop without actually trying them on. Because my guesses lead to more
questions than I have answers I simply sent an email to the people of Bennetts Boots, who talked me through
the entire process…was easy pleasy.

I didn’t go with a boot but instead went with these chocolate
beyond the boot peek-a-boo anklet style poppy. Poppy are exquisitely hand
pierced, full leather upper, shoe boots. With a cute as pie peep toe to show
off those pedicured tootsies, a seven centimeter heel to give the best look for
your gorgeous legs, and all the comfort and style of the winter collections, no
wardrobe should be without the Poppy!

I heart them and could not believe how pretty the actual
shoe was; the web picture does them absolutely no justice! No even a little…well
made, comfortable, so chic and full of attitude!

I already told my sister about Bennetts Boots and since she buys
herself a little something-something for under the tree I know she will
probably but from them, if she hasn’t already. Her birthday is a few weeks
after Christmas and after I know what she bought herself I plan on going back
to Bennetts and getting her a pair that she doesn’t already have…. I have to
make sure her gift is fab because my own birthday is right after hers, so I set
the tone for my own birthday wishes. Lol, I totally raising the bar this year
with Bennetts Boots :0)
