Thunder, thunder, thundercats- ho ho ho!!!

There is an absolutely awesome Lion-O action figure/statue/work of art over at Think Geek. Or Think-eek as Little Man calls it. Lion-O measures 14.5 inches tall, has the Sword of Omens both in short sword form and fully extended form, as well as his Claw Shield/ gauntlet. Lion-O is a high quality vinyl figure who is cast in stunning detail. He is perfect for any fan of the 80’s show or the current one. By the way, the current series is awesome and gets my seal of approval as does this Lino-O figure. This would look prefect on a shelf or is great fun to play with for kids of any age. Little Man loves it because he is a big toy, and of course, it’s Lion-O.

It’s bigger then you may think- check out some action shots!!

What are one of the greatest woes of modern man? Pestilence? yeah, that’s not good. Disease? Indeed. How about something a little closer to the freezer and the alcohol cabinet. Something not quite as pressing, and also a lot easier to solve. The problem is thus: How to keep your whiskey cool without watering it down. The answer is simple and incredibly smart at the same time Whiskey stones.

These stones are natural soapstone and are 7/8 inch on each side, all six of them. The stones go in the freezer for a few hours, then when it’s whiskey time. The stones come out, and into the glass. The stones add a slight chill to your whiskey, without diluting it. Rinse and repeat as need be. It really is that simple and they do work. Keeps things a bit chilly and un-diluted. These will come in very handy for those family meetings coming up soon some call them holidays. There is no need to dilute alcohol during these troubling events, lol.
