Maybe you live far away, or maybe real near by- but either way, you are definitely going to want to mark your calendars for the return of America’s sweetheart- Annie!
If you can believe it, as a lover of musicals and the theater in general- I have never seen Annie on Broadway. Well, maybe you can believe it. Annie opened in 1977, and closed it’s doors in 1983, which would have made me a tiny baby ๐
Inspired by the famous comic strip Little Orphan Annie, this show will celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the show’s opening with a full revival.
In just about 270 days, Annie will be back on Broadway. You know I will be there- and so will my Little Man! He’s my Broadway Baby- and I hope that you bring your kids, too. It’s never too early to start exposing your children to the magic of the theater. (Start with the movie if they have never seen it- it’s a classic, they need to watch it anyway!) This feel-good show will be the one everyone is sure to be talking about.
In less then one year, ANNIE arrives on Broadway!? Check out the website, Facebook, and Twitter and keep yourself in the loop.

Wow, this has been off-Broadway for my entire life! Cool that they are bringing it back!
my daughter and her friends just did a skit from annie for the school talent show!

I cant wait to dig out the red wig and start singing!
One of my all time favorite shows!
My Sister in Law LOVES Annie. It is her favorite movie. I bet she would love to see this. To bad we live so far from Broadway ๐ Perhaps they have it on DVD?
I love Annie. I would love to see this one on Broadway
Is it shameful to admit that I have never seen a Broadway production? I would like to though. I bet Annie would be awesome.
I saw the movie when I was a little kid, but I have never seen it on broadway. I wasn’t even born yet when they stopped having it on broadway. That’s great that they are bringing Annie back. It will give a lot of people a chance to see it that haven’t been able to.
I’ve only seen the movie, bet the production is the bomb!
I haven’t seen the broadway productions but have seen it as the movie version. Another great show with lots of great tunes.
I first saw Annie in the movie version when I was quite young. My poor parents; I think my sisters and I memorized every song and sang them ad nauseum for WEEKS! I’d love to share the live show with my kids. (stopping for ear plugs on the way home, of course!)
