Think Geek’s Newest Awesome!

This edition of Think Geek’s awesome is full of stuff for the ‘big kids’. Be they fans of fuzzy critters from the 80’s or beverages with a modern flair, even a little madness. Think Geek always has all your new favorites, reviewed by daddy.

First we start with Fizzgig. Some of you may be asking what a Fizzgig is, well it is a cute little critter full of razor sharp teeth from the classic film Dark Crystal. For a child of the 80’s this is perfect. He is small and cute and his head flaps open to reveal a ton of teeth all waiting to chomp you. But its OK if Kira is around, he’ll behave himself. Fizzgig is a soft plush about the size of a basketball, and there is a spot of Velcro to keep his mouth closed when no chomping. He is high quality and safe for nap time. No hard pieces except his big yellow eyes.

For the ladies out there we have a little bit of madness with the mad hatter and the original crazy ‘dame’ Alice. Check out this shirt. It is a deep purple color with the timeless scene where Alice first meets the Cheshire Cat. Or rather first meets his smile. The shirt is for women and is fit for them. It’s fit is a bit small but not too bad. I would suggest sizing up if buying as a gift. The pictures make the shirt look cool, but in person it is even nicer.

And now for the more adult fun. These aren’t classic fun, but will definitely get those gears working in your head. Take a look at the Sidekick shot glasses. These shot glasses are a very interesting idea. They are a large compartment and a smaller compartment at the bottom, between the two there is a large grating which the liquid can pass through but no the solid in the smaller bottom compartment. This is difficult to describe- take a look at the picture and you will understand completely. Think of it this way. Have you ever wanted to put a hot pepper or a fresh dill pickle in your vodka? Well now you can, and keep the food at the bottom. Not only do you have a tasty drink but you also get a little snack. This makes for some very interesting combinations. Lets say cinnamon liquor with an apple slice at the bottom for a apple pie shot. Get a set and have a few friends over, I am sure you can think of some really fun stuff.
