At Barinkoff Academy, there’s only one rule: no students on campus after curfew. Phoenix McKay soon finds out why when she is left behind at sunset. A group calling themselves night students threaten to taste her flesh until she is saved by a mysterious, alluring boy. With his pale skin, dark eyes, and mesmerizing voice, Demitri is both irresistible and impenetrable. He warns her to stay away from his dangerous world of flesh eaters. Unfortunately, the gorgeous and playful Luka has other plans.
When Phoenix is caught between her physical and her emotional attraction, she becomes the keeper of a deadly secret that will rock the foundations of an ancient civilization living beneath Barinkoff Academy. Phoenix doesnโt realize until it is too late that the closer she gets to both Demitri and Luka the more she is plunging them all into a centuries old feud.
Teen romance with bite! There’s certainly plenty of interest in this genre, especially of late. I’d not heard of this title before; thanks for the introduction!
The post looks great, Sam! Thank you so much for featuring Taste on your blog today. ๐
My secret confession-I love vampire romance novels. Not Twilight thought. I’ll have to check this out.
I have a strange vampire obsession. This just might be a book for me ๐
It’s so hard to get into any book about vampires by other authors.
I am an all out Anne Rice fan from the get go, not sure if any other vampire book will ever grab my attention unless they follow her footsteps!
By the description I would think that Twilight fans may like this book, No?
It is always good to see the variety of books out there to read. Thanks for sharing.
nope- sorry lucy. not a romance reader at all ๐
Oh the things you learn about your favorite bloggers. I totally didn’t take you for a sappy romance connoisseur….very interesting.
Though I can’t say anything because my big sister loves these kind of books…gives her a vicarious escape and I am her biggest supplier ๐
I sending her your link now, I know she’d want to see it.
Thanks for sharing.
