Many couples today are spending thousands of dollars trying to increase their fertility. Choosing an egg donation service or in vitro fertilization are great ways to conceive, but not every couple can afford to do so and insurance isn’t always willing to cover the costs. However, there are actually many free, natural ways that you can use to help increase your chances of conceiving. Many people report increased fertility after making just a few small changes in their lives.

Eat Healthy
Cutting back on fast food and eating right will help your hormones balance in a way that is conducive to fertility. Eating foods rich with vitamin C and antioxidants will also help to increase your chances of conception by reducing the amount of stress that is placed on your reproductive organs. Additionally, you should try to eat organic fruits and vegetables as much as possible. Some of the pesticides used to treat conventional fruits and vegetables contain hormone-disrupting chemicals that limit your fertility.

Keep Calm
Reducing the overall amount of stress in your life is another way to help increase your chances of having a baby. Studies show that women who are more relaxed are more likely to conceive, pointing to the fact that stress disrupts the body’s hormones. In order to practice relaxation techniques, you may want to start going to a yoga class, or reading more about meditation. You must also try to get rid of any unnecessary stress in your life. For example, if driving to work in the morning stresses you out, just relax and take the bus instead.
Exercise Moderately
Both too much and too little exercise can harm your body’s reproductive glands. Too much exercise works your body too hard, making it unsuitable for childbirth. At the same time, too little exercise could allow for too much fat to accrue, thereby also lowering your chances of conceiving. Moderate exercise like going for a short walk or run, or attending a yoga or Pilates class, is great for hopeful mothers-to-be. A balanced exercise routine will help promote the prime amount of fertility hormones in your body.Overall, living a healthy life makes one more likely to become pregnant when they are ready. Start taking these and other steps to make yourself healthier today, and you should have no problem conceiving a child when you are ready.
