Have you ever been in a pinch in the morning? I mean a real pinch, where breakfast should have been eaten and everyone should have been on the road 20 minutes ago, but everyone is just waking up? The kind of bind where the breakfast you were planning and really wanting is definitely not happening, and now it’s granola bars for everyone! What if I told you there was a way to go from hungry to breakfast in less than one minute.? Ahhh, nice- quick and easy breakfast.
We recently had the pleasure of trying the new Tyson breakfast bread bowls. These bowls are full of egg, bacon, and cheese all wrapped up in a wonderful bowl made out of a biscuit. These are perfect for the grab and go breakfast or even just the grab and sit breakfast. We enjoyed them on a lazy Saturday morning with coffee for the adults and juice for the kids. It is a bit on the small size, but the plus side is it cooks fast, and is perfect for little hands.
They cooked very quickly. 50 seconds in the microwave and they were done, and after sitting for a bit they were perfect for eating. I think when running late the extra minute is well worth the breakfast and being more full then a granola bar would have done. I like the fact that these do not need a special wrapper or anything like that. These would also work well for vacation breakfasts. Every hotel room has a microwave these days.
One more thing I’d like to mention- just for fun? We got these in the mail- and they came packed in dry ice. Daddy decided to make use of said dry ice and have a little chemistry lesson with Little..
They had so much fun. You can really turn just about anything into a fun learning experiment with kids π
You can Follow Tyson on Twitter and Facebook as well. Happy breakfast!
Dry ice is always fun!
Oh, my goodness! Would my family ever put these little delights to good use! Morning, afternoon or evening quick meals are (necessarily) all the rage at our house during the week!
I love getting things packed in dry ice. I can’t wait to try these!
Now I’m hungry! I think my kids do the same thing your little bug does, nose right in the food. It’s their – This passes my inspection Mom- π
Cute pic as well as yummy bread bowl, never saw that before!
Anything that speeds up breakfast in my kitchen is a must.
Closer to Lucy is funny! We are always running behind. Today I had to drive the girls to school because they missed the bus. Boy was I mad! Breakfast was not eaten today, but these could have made the trip in the car to school – and my girls would’ve had a nourishing and good breakfast. Thanks for sharing!
You had me at bread, kept me at grab and go and sold me at biscuits and cheese…gotta find these things π
Why, no that has never happened to me… except ALL THE TIME! π
These look great. Totally impressed with the chemistry lesson!!
Looks yummy!
He looks like he is smelling the Yumminess!
