Travelers don’t have to leave the country in order to find some of the very best tropical resorts and hotels in the entire world. Many of these locations are in the continental United States, although there are those that are situated on island owned and governed by the U.S. Regardless, a travel does not need their passports in order to reach these different hotels, but it is wise to book ahead, as many of these tropical hotels do tend to book up quickly.
Grande Colonial Hotel La Jolla
Situated in San Diego, California, this seaside village offers everything a travel may ever want, without the high booking feel of flying outside of the country. It is a larger hotel, so there are more open rooms (93 to be exact), so anyone that is looking for a classic hotel, with fully renovated rooms, situated right on the ocean, the Grande Colonial Hotel La Jolia is perfect for them.
The Huntley Hotel Santa Monica
Another oceanfront hotel, this hotel is situated right in the heart of Santa Monica. So, if a traveler wants to relax with an amazing view of the ocean, or simply go outside and experience everything the city has to offer, the Huntley Hotel Santa Monica is the perfect hotel option.
Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain
Most people probably don’t think of Arizona as a tropical getaway, but in Paradise Valley, the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain hotel is an excellent boutique option for someone looking for anything a bit different. From award winning menu items crafted by Food Network chefs, to the incredibly championship golf course on site, this is a truly fantastic and tropical hotel.
L’Auberge Del Mar Resort and Spa
As soon as a traveler pulls up to this hotel, it is obvious the resort is something special. With incredible views of the ocean, large, spacious rooms, full spa service and just about anything else one could want, this hotel in Del Mar is truly an amazing stay.
The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort
Found along the coast in South Carolina, this is situated on its own island, roughly 45 miles out from Charleston. The entire properly is oceanfront view, with a full golf course, tennis, spa and just about all other activities one could imagine.
The Inn at Harbour Town
Found in the heart of Hilton Head Island, which is off the coast of South Carolina, directly north of Savannah, Georgia, this hotel features not only a golf course and multiple tennis courts, but amazing views of the ocean.
Ocean Key Resort
A traveler does have to drive a bit to reach the Florida Keys, and with so much travel involved, one needs to stay in an amazing and beautiful hotel, such as the Ocean Key Resort. The Mallory Wing all has views of the ocean.
The Setai
When visiting Miami, if the hotel isn’t in South Beach, than that’s the point? The Setai hotel, situated with ocean front property directly in South Beach offers everything a traveler might want, from a private beach to a private pool to amazing bars and restaurants, everything is available here at the Setai.
Mandarin Oriental, Miami
For travelers family with the luxury hotel chain, the Mandarin Oriental is an amazing hotel in Miami with its own private beach, outside spa options and incredible views.
Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and Bungalows
No tropical hotel listing is complete without one from Hawaii, and this ocean front property offers both rooms and independent bungalows, depending on how much space a guest wants and how involved they wish to be with the outside.
