Right now we have a dog that is slowly sneaking her way into our home. She was adopted and brought home by two loving pet owners, only to realize the people with whom we adopted the pooch FROM were telling a few fibs. Like she didn’t dig, was well house trained, listened to commands, etc etc. All of these things were said to get us to ‘take’ their dog. We are definitely aggravated with the pooch, but she is a cute dog who loves to sleep on the picnic table in the yard- which amuses my husband and infuriates me. It is quite hysterical to look out the kitchen window and see a big dog snoozing on a picnic table, admittedly. I’m guessing the ground is just too low to see all the wildlife in the yard, and she feels she must be up higher in order to get it all in. I am not sure what motivates her, but whatever it is is makes for a funny scene.
This new dog is a pain but she will always come when called, well, inside only-when she is outside don’t even try it, she is busy digging holes or running to Timbuktu. And our mutt needs some good treats made with the best ingredients like, Cesar‘s new Cookie Crunchies to lure her back IN once she has figured out how to bust out. These dog biscuits may be treats for little dogs, but they are big on flavor according the the tail wagging an the salivating of our dog. She loves going on a treat hunt in the yard. The way this works is we toss out a handful of treats then let her hunt them out. Yes, sometimes the grass is a bit tall, and when this happens its even more fun because she can’t see them and has to smell them out. This game is easy to play and she quickly finds all the treats. The kids have just as much fun when the dog finds the treats as she does, for some reason this endlessly amuses them. These are treats for dogs of all sizes and shapes, especially small ones.
I like your dog she is really smart. If I had a dog I’d give these a try. I’m familiar with the dog food under their brand but didn’t know they made treats until recently.
hahaha This is funny and sweets ๐ The pup will be great for the kids ๐
a lot of dogs seem to have a “honeymoon” period where they are calm quiet and well behaved for a few days and then their real side comes out:)
LOL…let me tell you, both my dogs fooled me. JR was all quiet before we adopted her and the moment we got home, she went crazy on us. Baby Pom was super quiet in the store and we thought we got a non-barker…Boy, were we ever wrong. He’s loud and isn’t afraid to be heard! Good luck!
Whirlwind of Surprises
Dogs are funny. My dog Cooper totally had us fooled the day we picked him from all the other dogs at the Humane Society. He acted like he was all mellow and calm. Two days after bringing him home, once he started to get comfy, his true colors came out. He’s a dirty thief! But he’s still a sweet boy, so we love him anyway. Good luck with your new dog!
Aww, just sounds like she needs some loving and some more Cesar treats!
