It’s party time, lets all go grilling! Wait a minute, its getting cold out now…scratch that idea.
It’s time for a Fall party and lets try something a bit different this time, lets theme it with Fall Printing fun centered around our new HP Deskjet 3052A Wireless All-In-One printer. This nifty printer has the ability to print from any internet enabled device including smartphones and tablets, from around the globe. This would be incredibly useful in any business scenario especially those who run their won business or work from home. We have a few budding entrepreneurs with whom we are friends with, including artists and a candle maker. Both of which were thoroughly interested in the printer. The ability to print label for all her new project eh candle maker had ideas flowing from word one of the printer. Our artist friend saw this is a great way to get ideas onto paper even from the most remote corners of the world, like a Stabucks in Spain!
The printer is very neat, but it is not the only nifty part of our Fall Party, there are also the new XLink cartridges which hold a ton more ink then regular cartridges, 2 1/2 times more pages then their regular sized cousins at least.
The party itself kicked off as most shindigs do in our household- everyone groups up and chats, catching up and getting to know new and old acquaintances the same. All are welcome as long as we all get along it will be a great night.
Our parties are very pot luck, so we decided to go with this again but kicked it off ourselves with some Print-Sized Pinwheels which were small sandwiches with three different fillings, chicken ham or cucumber, each rolled up in a tortilla wrap with a touch of cream cheese. These were a great hit and everyone enjoyed them, even our more picky eaters.
Since this is a printer Fall themed party we decided to have a fun scavenger hunt and charades game using the HP 3052A. After a quick and easy set up of the 3052A and our HP ePrint its time to play.
First up- the scavenger hunt. One player picks a topic, then each player has 5 minutes to find a printable picture or snippet of test about the topic, the trick is no google, no yahoo, no bing. Blind surfing only. This is a lot harder then you might think, and leads to some sneaky players trying to look over shoulders for a good starting point and lots of laughs.
The charades works in a similar manner, one player prints to the printer, only pictures, no words and the other players have to watch the printer as it spits out clue after clue trying to figure out the phrase or theme, This was great fun and also got us all thanking our lucky stars for a printer that prints quickly and easily.
Finally as the bottles empty and the snacks disappear the party favor come out, Walmart gift cards for everyone! This is just the thing to get people who normally stick around for a bit too long to get the motivation to leave. LOL- Here’s $10, go home, I’m tired and have to clean up.
Check out these fun (and easy to print!) recipe cards.
