Yoomi-Self Warming Baby Bottle Review

Being the mom of a VERY active 2.5 year old, as well as a 7 month old means that we are ALWAYS on the go! As you know by now, I am a breastfeeding mom, so seldomly do I need bottles, but there are just times that it is truthfully much more convenient.

I was SO excited to review the Yoomi Bottle! The Yoomi is the first self-warming bottle. It is a bottle and warmer all in one. The Yoomi heats the milk to the natural temperature of breastmilk with the touch of a button, in only 60 seconds. The wonderful warmer, can be recharged up to 100 times. When you get the bottle, you are to sterilize ALL parts in boiling water.

How Does It Work??

Well it is very simple!! You need to have your bottle full with breastmilk or formula. Push the orange button on the warming unit, and wait just 30 seconds, until the button turns blue. Then you put the lid on and turn the bottle upside down to allow milk to pass over the heating unit and fill the nipple. Then you can feed your baby!! The milk only gets heated as it passes over the warming unit. The warmer will stay on for 60 minutes.

How Do I charge and recharge the warmer?

In order to charge the warmer, you must boil it for 25 minutes and allow for it to cool for 75 minutes. You MUST recharge the warmer after each use!

MY THOUGHTS?

Well I was definitely impressed by the Yoomi! As I stated before, we don’t typically need a bottle, but it is a GREAT resource for us to be able to use! I would say that it is definitely something you have to plan ahead to use. I found that I just always got it ready after I returned home from using it, that way I was ready the next time that I might need it. I think that if you have a baby that is still waking in the middle of the night and you are a formula momma, that this would be AWESOME. I also really utilized it while we were out and about running errands and such! It was also great when my husband has the girls out, and he doesn’t have to worry about how to get the bottle warm!!

So, would I recommend the Yoomi?

Absolutely!! I think that it is SO awesome! I can’t wait to get one for my best friend as she is about ready to have her first child!!
