I love Pecan pie! It’s also very easy to make. You may think I takes tricks and tips to make this pie but really it’s super easy and fast.
Ingredients
one Pie crust (favorite recipe or store bought will do)
2/3 cups sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1/3 cup butter melted
1/2 teaspoons salt
3 eggs
1 cup pecan halves (I toss in a full cup sometimes)
Directions
Heat oven to 375 This would be a good time to make the pie crust if it isn’t store bought. Beat sugar, butter, syrup salt and eggs into a bowl. Stir in the pecans. Pour into your prepared pastry in a pie plate. Cover edges with foil so they don’t burn too fast and bake 40-50 minutes or until set. Remove foil about 15 minutes before it finishes baking to get a nice gold color. Let cool and then set in refrigerator. This is one of those pie I say “easy as pie” Cause it really is easy! Enjoy
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
