Guest Post Giveaway from Diane at Turning the Clock Back

My husband and I are huge tea drinkers and my tea cabinet is overflowing because I cannot resist trying out a new tea! In fact, I think I might be approaching the ‘addiction’ phase of tea drinking! I try and find organic tea whenever possible since it is much better for our environment than traditionally grown teas. I recently tried some organic tea from Paisley Tea Co. and have been very impressed with it! Here is some information about Paisley Tea Co. from their website:

British by way of India, the paisley pattern, like tea, became popular in the 17th century. Our Paisley blends are inspired by great English tea – rich, robust, dark in the cup and delicious with or without milk.

Paisley Tea is Certified Organic and Fair Trade and comes in 4 different varieties. You can choose from Green Ginger, Double Earl Grey, Decaf English Breakfast and Regular English Breakfast. They are produced by the Two Leaves Tea Company which also offers a number of tea gifts like tea pots and tea samplers. These teas come in a box of 24 English style tea bags. They are gluten free, vegan and Non-GMO Project verified as well. Here is a brief summary of each of the varieties of the Paisley organic tea:

Organic Ginger Green A blend of green tea and ginger into one mug!

Organic Decaf English Breakfast – A decaffeinated English breakfast tea.

Organic Double Earl Grey: A bolder Earl Grey thanks to the addition of citrus bergamot oil.

Organic English Breakfast A blend of Indian and African teas for a classic English breakfast tea.

My opinion: Just FYI: The term ‘English style tea bag’ means that there is no string on your tea bag! This doesn’t particularly bother me since I find that most tea bag strings just end up in the mug anyhow. The absence of a string if fine with me but if you have never used one like this, just grab a spoon for retrieval and you’ll never miss it.

I love that the Paisley Tea Co. teas are sustainably raised and would certainly recommend them as an addition to our own tea selection!

I really enjoyed all of the varieties of organic tea that Paisley sent me to try. The ginger in the green tea is very mild so it does not overpower the actual flavor of the green tea itself. The Earl Grey tea is lightly sweet and fruity with a very distinctive flavor. I did not notice any different between the Decaf English Breakfast tea and the Regular English Breakfast tea. Both had a very rich flavor and aroma. I don’t think you will miss the caffeine at all!
