BuckleyLion

If you happen to be looking for the perfect gift for a toddler, I can pretty much promise you that any item from BuckleyBoo would be a perfect fit. We were lucky enough to be able to review BuckleyLion 17″. My 3 year old is in love with the Buckley Boo, as well as my 1 year old.

About the BuckleyBoo products:

The BuckleyBoo products grow with your children throughout their toddler age.

  • Stage 1: Visual Scanning & Matching-Your child first learns to match the bright ribbons on their BuckleyBoo animal.
  • Stage 2: Small Motor Problem Solving Cognitive Development-Your child really learns how to buckle, even though that can’t always unbuckle at this time. (Typically they play with mom and dad–while they buckle mom or dad unbuckles).
  • Stage 3: Advanced Problem Solving-By this time your child can both buckle and unbuckle all by themselves.

My Thoughts:

I must admit that we are definitely loving our BuckleyLion. As you can see above, BuckleyLion really keeps my toddler busy, as well as our baby (maybe she is just trying to get involved in whatever her sister is doing). My daughter really loves playing with it. She is able to buckle and unbuckle all of the different buckles that are on there. Occasionally there is one that she struggles with, but she never hesitates to keep working or even ask for help if she can’t get it on her own.

As my youngest grows up I look forward to watching her grow with our Buckley Lion! She is already a big fan, she loves to take the lion and “play” with it. She shakes it to hear the rattle, as well as cuddles up and lays with it when she gets tired while playing. I know that she will love it just as much as her sister.

I also must admit that recently a friend and her children were over for a play date and both of her boys, ages 2 & 5 got caught up playing with the Lion. When it was time for them to leave they kept telling their mom that they wanted her to get one so that they could play with it too!
