Little kids, and big kids for that matter, love pirates. From the Disney pirate movies which have graced movie theaters for years to the aisles of pirate toys in stores across the country, pirate themed fun is everywhere. What better way to get your kids into reading then with the peg legged swashbuckling pirates?
Check out My Pirate’s Tale, a book with personalization available for your child, and an incredible amount of Pirate fun inside. The book is a cute story of a little boy who, after receiving a magical treasure chest, is able to be a pirate out on the open seas. The book is part story book, part photo album, with pages meant to be filled with pictures of your little pirate. The book is written by B.L.Medeiros, who has 15 years of early education experiance. Miss Lee (as she is known) also runs a personalized birthday party business for little ones as well as theater and music classes. Included with the book is a treasure chest full of fun to make your little guy/gal into a pirate.
Pirate Booty Bag with 5 Gold Coins
Pirate Flag

Magnetic Compass
Pirate Head Bandana

Silver Skull Ring
6 Pirate-themed Tattoos
Treasure Map
and the book of course
Little Man’s favorites are the telescope, booty bag and coins, and treasure map. He loves scouring the house for the coins, using his treasure map. When playing outside every rock becomes a treasure. Kids playing with imaginative active toys like these are always a treat to listen to play. The stories and interaction between characters made up by kids can be very interesting sometimes. From boats floating on a sea of blankets in bed to pirates hunting for treasure on a tropical island, anything is possible.
As an aside, Talk Like a Pirate day is a few months away, September 19. Now you can plan accordingly (LOL).

OMG, my son would LOVE this! His own treasure chest would be very big excitement. Ever since he saw Buckey, he has been into pirates.
