VeggieTales ‘The Little House That Stood’ DVD Review

Veggietales were very popular when I was a child, and I am so happy to see that they are still popular among children today.

The Little House That Stood is a new DVD from Veggie tales that is ‘A Lesson in Making Good Choices’. Some of the verses that it teaches are Luke 10:27 and Matthew 7:24.

About The Dvd:

The three little pigs come into town looking to build themselves some new houses, they met one builder with a plan and two without a clue! Larry builds with hay, Mr. Lunt builds with bricks, ut only Bob builds his houses on a firm foundation – following the wise plans from the “Master Builder’s Handbook!” Each of the pig has a good idea of what they want for their houses, but will it be good enough when the rain comes? You’ll have to watch the movie to find out and to learn that when we follow God’s blueprints, we can make the right choices!

My Thoughts:

I was very impressed with this VeggieTales DVD just as I have been with all the other ones that I have seen. This DVD teaches value lessons of God’s Word on how we should build our foundation on Him and only Him. When we try and do things on our own, we crumble but in Him we are strong. My daughters enjoyed seeing it played out with ‘The 3 Little Pigs’ Fairytale.

VeggieTales is also offering a great craft that you can put together with your children. Which the House and Characters can both be found on pinterest.
