A Monster in Paris – Movie Review

There is a brand new film being released by Shout! Factory called A Monster in Paris. The movie is directed and written by Bibo Bergeron who also worked on The Road to El Dorado and Shark Tale. The producer is Luc Besson and features a star studded cast of International musicians and actors including Vanessa Paradis, Bob Balban, Sean Lennon, Catherine O’Hara and Jay Harrington.

The music in the film is scored by French singer/songwriter Matthieu Chedid otherwise known as M. M had also created the song “Belleville Rendez-vois” for the movie “The Triplets of Belleville”., another great French film.

The central story of A Monster in Paris, is a love story set in Paris in 1910. The story of Lucille and Raoul who through a series of extraordinary situations become closer then expected. Once such situation is the creation of one of the most beutiful voices in Paris, Francoeur. Franc is a flea who was involved in a gigantic accident at a scientist’s laboratory. After the accident a small flea grows exponentially into the size of a person. With references to Frankenstein, a love story and even a security guard monkey A Monster in Paris is sure to put a smile on your little one’s faces as well as your own.

The movie is being released in two two options the two disc Blu-Ray 3D comob pack, which includes the movie in Blu Ray 3D,Blu-Ray 2D, Dvd and a digital copy of the film. As well as a DVD only package. Both will be available April 16,2013. The movie runs time is 1 hour, 27 minutes.
