Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival was fun for the little ones, getting them dancing along to favorite Disney classics as well as some favorite hits and silly versions of popular songs.

Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival is at Madison Square Garden through Easter Sunday with shows to follow at Nassau Coliseum, the IZOD Center, and Westchester County Center.

Disney Live! Mickey’s Music FestivalThe show was just the right length for kids, with intermission of course (for potty breaks!) Mickey, Minnie, and the gang are rocking to all different kinds of music- country, hip hop, pop and more.

The show started with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and the dancers performing an upbeat “Rock the Mouse” dance number. The Aladdin section was next, and began with Mickey rubbing a magic lampto get the Genie to appear. Aladdin did a trampoline “dance” in the market place, then Jasmine and Aladdin floated around the stage on a “magic carpet” to “A Whole New World”.

Next, Mickey and friends did a conga to introduce Sebastian and the Little Mermaid. Ariel’s sisters did a song, Ariel gave her voice to Ursela, and true love conquered all. Toy Story was next up- the army toys did a march around the stage, and then Buzz, Jessie, and Woody saves the audience from horrible meteors. The “meteors” fly into the audience and the kids can bounce the giant balls around.

There are, of course, toys and treats to be had in the concession area. Head over to ticketmaster.com to get your tickets 🙂
