Light Enough Sour Cream Apple Pie Recipe

Light Enough Sour Cream Apple Pie Recipe

Pie ingredients:
1 unbaked 8 inch pie shell
2 cups of Apples- sliced and frozen
1 cup of lite sour cream
2 Tbsp. unrefined Flour
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
3/4 cup of coconut palm sugar
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 Egg

Topping ingredients:
1/2 cup coconut palm sugar
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
1/3 cup of unrefined flour
1/4 cup unsalted butter

First you will need to preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Then mix all of the ingredients
together in a large bowl, except the apples! Once you have a well blended mixture you
can add the apples. Pour your mixture into the unbaked pie shell then bake for 25-30
minutes.

You can begin to make the topping while the pie is baking. Mix the sugar, unsalted
butter, cinnamon and flour together in a bowl then sprinkle on top of your pie and
continue to bake for another 20 minutes.

Once the baking is complete, let the pie cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting and
serving. Serves 8.
