Miami Airport is one of hundred of airports across the country. Miami International airport is one of the countries largest hubs for many airlines including American Airlines, UPS Airlines and FedEx Airlines to name a few. What makes this airport unique is it is the largest gateway between Latin America and the United States. Transportation at the airport includes airplane, of course but also taxi’s, metrorail downtown and south beach, Tri-Rail to Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach as well as Car Rental Miami Airport style. Each mode of transportation easy to find and well organized. If going mass transit is a great way to get around but nothing beats renting a convertible and driving with the warm Miami air flowing through your hair while your friends back home are bundled up in their winter coats.
With its relatively close location to many hot spots including Miami, Hialeah, Doral, and Miami Springs it is easy to see why this airport is so special and a sight to behold. With 387,582 flights in 2012 and 750,503 passengers Miami International Airport has seen many tear filled goodbyes and heart warming welcomes. With five concourses bringing people to destinations across the globe, Miami International is an interesting place to explore in those moments between flights.
