For Father’s Day, give dad a picture frame created by you.
1. First of all, you will need a piece of a thick and tough cardboard.
You must draw in pencil the shape of your favorite Skylander’s face,
which will be then used for making the frame. In this example,
Ninjini has been the character chosen. She has a very long red hair
up in a ponytail and a blue face. Afterwards, you must draw a small
rectangular piece, having one of the sides smaller than the other
one, in order to hold the frame.
2. Now you will need help from an adult in order to cut out these
two pieces you have just drawn. Later, color Ninjini’s hair with red
tempera. Use blue for the face and the ears, and a bit of black for
the inside of these. You cannot forget about painting the back side
of the frame, including the piece to be holding it, in order to obtain
a fantastic result. Let it dry.
3. Draw a rectangular piece the size of the picture you are going to
use and, with an adult’s help, cut out it using a pair of scissors or a
cutter. Once you have made the hole, take the piece to be used as
the frame’s support and bend it by the tightest side of the
rectangle. Put some glue on it and stick it on the top of the frame’s
back.
5. Once the paint is dried, draw in black some locks of hair, using a
fine brush. Now, you only need to set you picture on the frame!
Put some glue on the edges of your favorite picture and set it in
the center of the hole. A tip: if you pick a picture of your face, you
will become a real Skylander!
