August 24th & 25th Join Denisha & Chica from the popular live children’s TV series The Sunny Side Up Show on Sprout for an interactive adventure show with a prehistoric theme! Did you know that Chica and dinosaurs share most of the same DNA? That’s right, birds are actually living dinosaurs! Come see Chica the bird in this exclusive performance about the fascinating link between modern birds and ancient dinosaurs, only at the Bronx Zoo.

After each performance, Sprout will host a meet & greet on site at the Zoo. Don’t miss a take-home goody bag that will include Sprout activity books, crayons, and stickers!  August 24 & 25 at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

August 31st – September 2nd Come meet everyone’s favorite dinosaur from the popular children’s book series, How do Dinosaurs…? This classic children’s series, written by internationally acclaimed author Jane Yolen, shows that dinosaurs who sometimes misbehave are still loved. Don’t miss this exclusive meet and greet, which will take place at 1pm, 2:30pm, & 3:30pm.
