Pokemon-mania is ramping up once again across the globe and to celebrate we are going to highlight a few of our favorite Poke-toys. We are looking at few gems from the Pokemon Black and White collection by TOMY, including the Pokedex Trainer Kit, plush Pikachu, and the small figure packs.
First up is the Pokedex Trainer kit. This product is great for your little trainer. It includes the finger-less glove, just like Ash. A Pokeball with belt clip so you are always ready for a battle, a two inch figure for mentioned Pokeball and the icing on the cake a Pokedex. This Pokedex carries small info cards which come with the two inch figures, and sport a moving Pokemon flicker animation, stats and a bright illustration of a Pokemon. The Pokedex also sports a card shuffler and slide open feature. All together this kit is great fun for little ones, all you need is a hat like Ash and you pretty much have a full on Ash Ketchum costume as well.
To go along with your Ash role playing, you need his best little buddy, Pikachu. Available now is the 8 inch plush Pikachu. Pikachu has his signature big smile, pointy ears and lightening bolt tail. He is well put together and the prefect bedtime friend. Pikachu would make a nice addition to any plush collection, especially if you have a Poke-collector in the house.
To round out your collections of Pokemon it is time to, ‘catch em all’. To do so with big figures or plush would take up tons of space and cost quite a bi. With the small 2 packs of figures, this feat is a bit more reachable. With each figure measuring 2 inches tall, and made of hard plastic these figures are built tough and are wonderfully sculpted to look as if they hopped right out of a Pokeball. There are a few options available for the small figures, including the 2 pack or vs. pack which contain 2 figures, the legendary single packs, catch n return packs, which sport Pokeballs and figures as well as the 4 figure packs. All of which contain Pokemon of various types. The nice touch with these is you know exactly which Pokemon you are purchasing so your chances of getting stuck with a duplicate are greatly reduced. That is unless you would like an army of Pikachu’s at your disposal, which is possible as well.
With so many options the choice is difficult- but at least you don’t have to go fighting for them.
OMG my son used to love those! For years we watched it after school together. Pikachu was always my favorite!

I love that his company is really try and make products that resemble what children see in the cartoons so they can feel like they are real Pokemon trainers. Sounds like there are a lot of great choices.
So cool. My boys aren’t old enough for Pokemon but I bet they will love it soon enough.
