Launched last night, October 11th from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Nintendo World in New York, Nintendo launched Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games.  At the event, Pokémon fans will have the chance to play the games, participate in freeze dance and costume “contests”, meet and greet a Pikachu character, and be among the first people in the country to purchase Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.  There was a line of enthusiasts (some of whom had been waiting for days to secure their place at the event and to get a copy of the games) up and down the street.

  6. This looks like such a great event. Makes me wish I lived closer to NYC. Anywho, before I break down and buy the new game can you let me know your thoughts on the new Pokemon game and 2DS. Specifically, if it is engaging, entertaining, quality of graphics, and what age range would enjoy them best. Thanks so much.
