Puerto Rico is one of the gems of Latin America. As such they are running a new campaign with Trip Advisor to turn actual 5 star reviews into stunning shot movies narrated by Puerto Rican stars. To celebrate this release I figured I’d share some of Puerto Rico’s charm with you all to have both a personal and a 5 star experience and Live your own 5-star vacation story in Puerto Rico..

First up you have to get there, BUT since Puerto Rico is technically a part of the United States a passport is not necessary, all you need is a change of clothes a a plane ticket. or boat ticket. With more then 270 miles of beach, one of my first stops would be the beach. Followed by an evening exploring one of the many bioluminescent bays. These are bodies of water where micro organisms emit an odd glow under the right circumstances, giving swimmers and anything in the water at night a glow underwater. It is a sight to see and even more amazing to find this is only a small portion of Puerto Rico. With a rich culture and many historical locations, San Juan would be my next stop, for some slow down time and some strolling time. Exploring a historical city by foot is in my opinion necessary when traveling. Another necessity would be a visit to the only rainforest protected by the US national park service, El Yunque.
