Glitzi Globes Starter Kit
Got a girl that loves animals? How about all things pink and sparkly? Check out Glittzy Globes, a kit that lets your child create her own snow glob accessories.
Not for kids under 3, or for those who mouth everything, the Glitzi Globes Starter Kit comes with five globes kids can make themselves. They can design these glittery Globes by using the included dome maker (this looks sort of like an egg slicer, but with no blades obviously) that steadies their globe and hands as they add different characters and charms, as well as a “glitter pellet”. It has a little bottle that can be filled with water and is the right size (and colors, of course, to coordinate) to fill the globe and lock the base into place by pressing both ends together. The Glitzi Globes Starter Kit includes the water bottle, four snow domes, four bases, four pop sticks, one bag tag for displaying Globes, 12 floating charms, five glitter tablets, four characters and one instruction booklet.

KRE-O CityVille Invasion Police Station Zombie Defense
Kids can build their own city with CityVille Invasion KRE-O sets and defend it from zombie invasion. This police station comes compete with a rotating gun turret, combat vehicle, 2 police and 2 zombie figures, 5 motion bricks and 1 Sonic Motion brick, as well as a “mystery figure”. Defend the station against attac, and sound the alarm if you get in trouble! The “sonic motion” bricks make real police sounds as well as moves the set around.
This is fun for parents to play with as well, especially if they are fans of “The Walking Dead” like we are. You can re-create the prison breakout scene, but perhaps let Hershel live (still crushed about that one!)

Calico Critters Cozy Cottage
The Calico Critters Cozy Cottage is a great way to begin a Calico Critter collection, or if you have a bunch of the critters, it’s a perfect first set or building. The soft, detailed, and posable critter figures are not only cute and cuddly, but also come in many animal varieties and sets. The house comes fully assembled and ready to play with (which is a relief to mom and dad) and comes complete with furniture and a rabbit as well, so there is no necessity to go buy other things. It comes with Bell Hopscotch Rabbit, bed with matching sheets, round table with chairs, kitchen counter with sink and oven, moveable ladder for easy access to each floor, cookware and food. Designed to imitate real life values (friends, family, sharing) and encourage imaginative play, each Calico Critter family and doll plays a different role in the Cloverleaf Corners community. The Cozy Cottage is a a great “first” (or only, if you are only going to get one) since it comes with a starter set.

Mamas and Papas Rainbow Hobby Horse
What kid doesn’t love a hobby horse? Perfect to play cowboys, ride through the Wild West, catch bed guys, be a knight and storm the castle, a princess on her valiant steed- the options are limitless.
This colorful printed hobby horse (also available in “cowboy” horse print) will inspire hours of imagination as your child gallops through the house and yard. If they press the horse’s hear, it will neigh, and it “jingles” as it bounces. It has a solid wood hand grip and pole, colored harness, and yarn mane. While they recommend this for age 3 and up, I would think younger kids would love this, although they may wield the stick portion as a weapon, so watch them with it (and all toys with handles).$35, http://us.mamasandpapas.com
