Go on- try to keep a box of Girls Scouts cookies on the kitchen table for more then 2 days, I dare you.
The Girls Scouts are an American institution. Since March 12, 1912 with 18 girls assembled by Juliette Gordon Low to today’s 3.2 million members (2.3 million girls, 890,000 adults) the Girls Scouts have always helped girls build courage, confidence, and character while making the world a better place. One of the added benefits of Girls Scouts is the cookies.
Girls Scouts cookies are something of an institution in our house. Every year, at least 5 boxes appear and disappear within a week of them appearing. It is almost as if a little gremlin, called SweetTooth, comes and snatches up as many of them as possible. With twelve varieties including Thin Mints, Samoas, and Lemonades you are almost guaranteed to find a favorite.
This coming weekend (February 7th through 9th) is National Girl Scouts Cookie Weekend. With activities both online and off, there is something fun for everyone. Just be sure you have some cookies to enjoy as well.

Hooray for Girl Scout Cookies! Bring on the Thin Mints!!
I absolutely love girl scout cookies! I’m sad because I never saw the girl scouts out at the store like I normally do! Where did they go? I have to find some Girl scout cookies and soon.
I remember being a girl scout – it was so much fun to sell cookies with my friends. I need to get a box or two before they stop selling this year.
I enjoy this time of year when these are readily available. I also gift them to people I love.
Yeah I can’t keep a box of Girl Scout cookies that long. Impossible. Haha! So good! My favorites are Samoas. I can’t wait to buy some this year!
