My girls are finally reaching the age that they like to play with Barbies. I must mention that I am very excited about this stage that we have finally reached. I loved Barbies as a child and I have been very excited about all of the neat Barbies that are available now. I was lucky enough to be able to receive Barbie Potty Trainin’ Taffy to do a review on.

About Barbie ‘Potty Trainin’ Taffy’:

Barbie loves her dog Taffy. Taffy is absolutely adorable with her pretty pink, removable collar and flopped ears. Your child will have the opportunity to help Barbie care for her dog with the Barbie Potty Training Taffy set. The set includes everything that you need to properly handle the basics: feeding, walking, and cleaning up.

Feeding Time: You can start out with a box of treats that fits perfectly in Barbie’s hand. You can put the bones in the dog bowl, or feed them straight to the dog and you can store them in Taffy’s pink backpack.

Pooping and Scooping:  When it is time for a potty break, you can press down on her tail so that Taffy dog can do her business. Once she has done her business, you need to make sure to remember to clean up. Barbie can even hold the pooper scooper by its handle, and your child can operate it to open, scoop, and close. Then your child can “throw the trash away” in the blue garbage can. It is very easy to clean up after Taffy.

Fashion Fun: Your child is sure to love Barbie’s fashionable outfit. She has pink capris, with a great blue t-shirt that is printed with hearts and bows. Her blue strappy wedges are a perfect shoe for a walk with Taffy.

My Thoughts:

I was completely impressed with this awesome toy. My daughters really have enjoyed starting to play with Barbies. They were very excited when they saw this new Barbie. They really have been wanting to get another Dog, so this Barbie helped me out in 2 different areas. It was great to let them have another Barbie to add to their collection as well as Taffy the dog. I also really enjoyed watching the girls learn somewhat of some responsibility with dogs. They learned that you have to take your best for walk. They also learned that you truly have to care for your bet in other ways than just playing with them.

I was very impressed with this Barbie and she did not disappoint in anyway. I can’t wait to see what they think of next.
