The first day of spring has tempted me into day dreaming about days at the beach with the family. If I close my eyes I can feel the sun on my face, the scent of surf and sunscreen tickle my nostrils and the delighted sound of my son laughing as he plays in the sand greets my ears like beautiful music.
When we have a day of fun in the sun planned I have a go to bag for my son that is super cute and designed to keep water from leaking in or seeping out. If you spend any amount of time near the water with your children you will want to keep reading. Let me tell more about the PaddlePak line of bags by Trunki.
PaddlePak is a fun backpack with a fun and friendly design sure to make your kids the envy of the beach. They are made with lightweight material making them easy for kids to carry. They are waterproof, which is fantastic because there are no more leaky swimsuits to contend with when it is time to call it a day. They are spacious with a 7.5 liter capacity, so you can pack water toys, towels and extra clothes without worrying about space.
These bags are great for year round travel and adventure as well, and a perfect fun backpack that kids can drag around with them no matter where they are off to. Fill it with your favorite snacks, toys, a sweatshirt- whatever suits the day- and off you go. Take it on a road trip, to the airport (and don’t worry if Junior spills his juice on it should turbulence hit), to the park or zoo- it’s versatile, and easy to spot in crowds as well, which is a bonus for parents.
I love that they have reflective trim and straps and a break away safety buckle because it is important to me that my son is visible, especially as the sun is setting and we are heading to the car. The dry zip pocket gives him a spot to stash his mp3 player. The Trunki Grip feature is excellent for keeping sunglasses accessible and the hanging loop makes hanging his PaddlePak a breeze.
Trunki offers an extensive catalog of products for children age 2 to 6. The PaddlePak is one of the awesome products available on the Trunki site.

I love the PaddlePack Clownfish – Chuckles. It would be perfect for my 3 year old granddaughter. The bright orange color would make it easy for her to find at daycare and she is a big fan of Finding Nemo. 🙂
I love it when kids are old enough to carry their own stuff….One less thing *I* have to carry around!
Those PaddlePaks are super cute, it’s hard to pick just one design! I think my daughter would love “Flo” the pink PaddlePak, it’s her favorite color.
How adorable! I have to check out all their designs, my kids would love having their own backpack like this.
I love PaddlePak Frog and my son would too. They are just darling and perfect for the spring.
My son would love something like this, he is going on a sleepover at Nana’s tomorrow and is using his SUbway lunch bags to bring some toys.
They are SO cute! I have a little one that needs this!
