The Living Dessert

Children can view animals in their natural habitat at The Living Dessert in Palm Springs, Calif. Nature trails stretch throughout the area for a safe, up-close view of natural dessert life. Mountain lions, badgers, jaguars and other dessert and mountainous animals call this preserve home. Kids interact with some of the animals, including a ride on a camel’s back.
