It is time for the third nomination period for the Year of Surprises contest from Marriott Rewards®. The period ends August 31,2014 so enter soon.
The way the contest works is, Marriott Rewards is celebrating in 30th birthday by giving its members something to really celebrate about. They will throw an awesome bath for the person of your choosing be it a mom who deserves a reason to celebrate their birthday, a friend who just went through a lot and could go for some good times or a returning hero who is finally coming home. This is the final round of nominations so get them in soon. Nominations are viewed based on a few criteria including creativity, uniqueness appeal of the essay, and feasibility of the party. Sorry no parties on Mars this time. There are four winners which will be notified in September with a party scheduled for some time this year. Engagement Party – Country Style!
Stephanie, 26, has been through a lot over the past year Her best friend, Cameron, knew she deserved a celebration of a lifetime. This year, Stephanie has triumphed over brain surgery and a stroke.
A year ago the doctors thought she would never walk again. Now, not only is Stephanie walking, she spent the evening dancing to her favorite country songs with her fiance, John, and their family and friends. The party incorporated aspects from their wedding, scheduled for March 2015, including teal accents, a gourmet BBQ, country–‐themed cake and, of course, the live country band!
