Sometimes a beverage does a good job at what its supposed to do, but isn’t as enjoyable as we might like. Or sometimes a beverage needs a little flavor boost to go from mediocre to exceptional.
To bring awareness of 5 hour energy as a beverage recipe ingredient, 5-hour Energy is running a new contest called: “Yummification” video contest. Yes, I think everyone who has ever read my blog or follows me on any form of social media knows how I feel about adults using the word “yum” (or num, nom, ect all baby talk) in any form to other adults- it’s just wrong. The contest will be judged on the creativity of the video and the taste of the creation. My recipe is called “Not so Lazy Sunday Morning Sun Tea”.
It starts with some home made sun tea, unsweetened.
Ingredients:
Un- sweetened sun tea (fresh brewed and warm from the sun’s rays)
1 Original 5 hour energy shot
Using a large glass first put in approximately 5 ice cubes, then pour first your 5 hour energy, then your tea. This will make your beverage both cold and give your regular decaf sun tea to another level.
If sun tea isn’t your favorite you can also use a plethora of other tea options included premade bottled varieties or dry ice tea mix. All of which make for wonderful beverages.
