When starting on a road trip, there are lots of things to factor in. Most important being the mode of transportation being used, of course. Is this a road trip where everyone packs into the old car and zips state to state, checking out the sights and sounds, or more of a long haul where you are going to be doing some serious off roading? If your choice is car, then I would suggest grabbing a rental before taking your regular car with you. Not only will it help keep your car from racking up added miles, but also will give the driver a change of pace. Instead of driving the same care taken to work every day, upgrade to a newer, sleeker car with lots of space for the kids and many entertainment options for all involved. (Just make sure it includes cruise control.)
Hertz to the rescue for your driving needs! With vehicles ranging from dream cars, prestige, adrenaline, and green travelers there is something for everyone in the fleet.
We recently took a 10 day road trip, and rented with Hertz. We were lucky enough to use a car that was barely used at all- just about a thousand miles on it when we packed our suitcases into it. Another bonus when you rent with Hertz is that they will come pick you up at home, so no one needs to drop you off, and you don’t need to leave your car in a parking lot while you are traveling. (Or alternately, while your car is in the shop, or whatever your needs are.) Of course, they will drop you off at home when you bring the car back as well- just make sure you arrive back during business hours.
Our trip was easy- it was also refreshing to drive a car that wasn’t mine- it was fun. The car had a lot of trunk space, room for a carseat, and was easy to drive- all the things I asked for when I made my car request. Customer service is number one with Hertz- and they called me regularly during my trip to see how things were going.
Are you looking to travel soon? Choose your car wisely- know what you want and need, and you will have the road trip of a lifetime.
Dream cars are the ultra elite, top of the line VIP rental vehicles some examples are Ashton Martin’s Bentley’s and Corvettes. All of which make a regular trip into an upscale adventure with little more then a rental agreement.
Prestige are the high end luxury you normally see on the road including Infiniti’s Mercedes, Escalades and more. These are a great change of pace and are more attainable then the dream cars. These are just a small hop down from dream cars but are a pleasure to drive to matter what the situation.
Adrenaline are the fast cars, built for speed and acceleration like Penske GT’s and Corvettes. These are the kinds of cars that I would get in trouble with. With sensitive gas pedals and fun along every bend these would be perfect for a nice couple’s get away or a man weekend, where fun is number one.
Green Traveler vehicles are the eco friendly options, like electric cars and hybrids, why not give one a try to see if it is feasible for your family to use one before jumping ship and saving your wallet and the planet in the same move.
No matter your preference Hertz is a good choice for a change of pace and the beginning of a fun filled vacation adventure.

We always like to use Hertz when we travel. They making renting a car very easy and affordable. The car you rented looks roomy and spacious and the perfect size for your family. I definitely want to check into getting a green car next time I travel.
I have always loved Hertz, have not used them in a while. That car looks awesome.
We are considering this now. With 3 kids having more room on a car trips would make life sooo much easier.
I have never rented a car before. If I were going to I would use Hertz just from your review alone. They sound amazing and I love that they pick you up as will as drop you off. Thanks for sharing.
