Now that Thanksgiving is behind us and leftovers are upon us, there is only one thing to do. No, not camp out in from of an electronics store and chatter your teeth for hours. Clean up, of course. After a big meal with lots of special dishes, all those dishes need to be served in…dishes of course. Those dishes need to be scrubbed, soaked, and thoroughly washed.
CVS is here to help with the Total Home line of products. These products feature high performing household cleaners, paper goods, light bulbs and more for up to 20% less than national brands.
These are also high quality products as well. The main difference most times is the packaging as far as we can tell, and the fact that it is not a “big name” brand, but the store’s own. From big clean up jobs like Thanksgiving dinner clean up to small jobs like a dirty light switch, all your supplies can be found at CVS. Glass cleaner, instant stain remover, and facial tissues are just a few of the Total Home products. They all make your life a little easier by being available at reasonable prices and at a local CVS are also nice features. (You know you are headed in for your prescriptions anyway- why stop at more then one place?)
Below are a few tips and tricks on clean up which can help save you time and aggravation;
1)Clean up wipes are an easy, on the spot clean up tool. From light switches to counter tops, all can be cleaned up quickly and easily. Keep a container on the counter in an easy to reach spot so anyone can quickly clean up their mess. (I also keep one under the bathroom sink for those “awesome” incidents kids love to create.)
2) Do not put clean up wipes near baby wipes. With a simple mistake it is easy to grab a clean up wipe instead of a personal cleansing wipe which will lead to at the least discomfort and a burning sensation. My husband INSISTED I add this “tip”.
3) Holidays are all about family and friends, so ask for some help. Extra hands make the work less for all, so instead of slaving over an oven and then a sink, delegate out some of the chores and enjoy some of your day.
4) Don’t waste your money on costly name brands when you know you can trust your favorite store brands. Give them a whirl if you haven’t yet- your money is better put to use trying to knock off Junior’s holiday list, don’t you think?
Look at the savings in price- no point spending what you can save. Try the Total Home brand fro CVS next time you shop, you won’t notice the difference in quality, but you will notice the savings.
I cannot survive without cleaning wipes. I have them in my home, car, you name it!
I can never keep enough of those antibacterial wipes on hand. They make housekeeping so much easier for me and easy and quick cleanups.
Cleaning up is no fun, I agree. But santizing wipes are pretty handy.
