products and ian snoring video 10 2 14 034I am just wrapping up my first 2 weeks of Medifast.  It was a moderate success, I lost 4 pounds.  I had the hardest time with drinks- water only is hard on me, I love coffee and diet sodas, and giving them up completely is hard.   I have not been going to the gym the past few weeks as my son has been home, but now that he is back on a normal schedule, I can be as well.  I’m a girl that loves being on a schedule, so I know it will be better for me when I am back.  Being a carb-queen, there is a lot to get used to, a very different way of eating.  Lots and lots of veggies, almost no dairy, very few snack options, and a lot of water.

You get nearly all of your food in the mail, but you add in your own fresh foods and one “lean” meal a day, which you can get ideas for online or in your booklet.  This is tough at first, but will help you with portion size and control in the long run.  Remember- we didn’t get overweight because we DON’T like to eat, am I right?

I love food- so it’s good to be re-trained after all these years.  Breakfast has been my favorite meal of the day so far.  Better then I would have guessed, honestly.  I also like the shakes, they are filling and good.

I will not lie and say I did a great job with weight loss this first week, I only lost one pound- but I also didn’t stick to the diet all the time AND I didn’t gain weight- which is a huge bonus.  The flesh is weak- and to be fair, I had to review a few places that involved eating.  I have to figure this out- for me, the first few weeks will be the hardest part because I’m not home, and part of what I do involves eating.  First world problems, right?  Haha.  But once I’m home, I think I will have a better time with it.  Medifast will be great for me when I’m home, because I can eat what they ship (and how easy is that?) and I will need to figure out what to do while I’m not home, because new things are always a little hard to figure out- but worth the time.

I’ve often wondered if this works. Sounds like something I would like to try. I’m horrible when we go out too :)….but I’m working on it. LOL Good luck in your weight loss journey!

  2. This is what I need. I need for my foods to be portioned out for me and told what to eat when. If I leave it to myself I wind up making poor choices and too big of servings. What a great gift to yourself to get healthy and lean!

I’ve heard great things about Medifast. I’ve had a few friends use Medifast to lose weight and they all had great success.

  4. Ok, I just did a juice cleanse but I wouldn’t mind trying this. Gotta get this weight off of me.

  5. I LOVE Medifast. I have been on it for two weeks now and have had great success so far. I’m more than half way to my goal weight. The key is to stick to the plan so you can really get into Fat burn! It’s hard but worth it!

I did the Medifast diet and lost weight when I stuck to it. It looks like they have added some yummy foods since I was on it.
