Burt’s Bees has been around for a while now, since their humble beginnings in 1984 at a local craft fair. If you haven’t heard about them, now is a great time- let me introduce you to your new favorite lip balm and skin care product line. Burt’s Bees is a business built around one simple thought- The Greater Good. They feel they have triple bottom lines, not just one. People, profit, and planet. “You can’t have one without the other two. So when we look after our own, we mean everybody: our employees, our customers, our families, ourselves. And yes, our environment, too. ”
This great philosophy makes itself evident in all their products, all of which take a natural twist on a familiar product. The first foray for most into the world of Burt’s Bees is their lip care line. Their lip balm is incredible, both my own and my husband’s favorite- especially their beeswax based line. It stays where it is supposed to and absorbs into your lips easily. It also comes in great flavors like Vanilla Bean, Wild Cherry, Mango, and Acai Berry. The original Beeswax is agreat flavor as well, it is minty and makes your whole mouth feel fresh. After brushing your teeth in the morning, put on some Burt’s Bees and have a truly eye opening minty experience. That will leave you feeling fresh and awake. The only drawback to Burt’s Bees that you will find yourself a Burt’s Bees addict before you know it. Burt’s Bees also makes a ton of personal care products. From face care products, including cleansers and exfoliants, to body washes and moisturizers and beyond. There are also colored lip care products like lip crayons, lip gloss, shimmer, and tinted lip balm. Burt’s Bees is available at your local Walmart today. Prices vary per item, but the lip balm retails for $3.30 each and are a staple in our home.
These are awesome beauty products that I did not know that Burt’s Bees is making. I would like to try the Firming day lotion to see how it works on my skin that is dry and has fine lines and wrinkles.
