Do you have a beauty routine?  I think we all do, to some degree. Mine is usually fairly uncomplicated, I’m a low maintenance kind of girl. That doesn’t mean that I don’t have things that I need to do in order to feel my best!

As moms, we sometimes neglect ourselves.  I have heard people say they sometimes don’t brush their teeth or hair before running the kids out to car line or school- and while I get that mornings are hectic, I think we need to respect ourselves a little bit more then that, yes?

Brushing my teeth, rinsing, and flossing (yes, I’m like that) are included in my morning and night routine, as is brushing my hair and washing my hands and face. I use a daily moisturizer with sunblock for the day on my face and neck, and a night time cream before bed. Lotion, of course, pretty much all over- I get so dry and itchy otherwise. And of course, shaving so I don’t look like Chewbacca.

This photo was taken while I was in Jamaica recently- and wearing some local birds, lol. This was a first for me, I have never had birds all over, and I have to say it was pretty funny.  I was amused, the birds didn’t seem to care one way or another.  Also, of course, my legs were looking fresh and smooth, which was nice- because in that heat, something had to look good, haha.
